changes

A time has come where all we see around is changes. Some people wishfully think that the changes will be according to their wishes. I , however, have concluded something else. I believe that changes occur each minute. Small, insignificant changes that create a huge change one day suddenly. The fact of the matter is, no one is really in control. Whatever happens is caused or allowed to be. There is a superior force that is running this whole show at all levels. I firmly believe that people who cause a huge change somewhere are not even aware of what they have done. One thing led to another, good or bad, it happened. Of course, this does not mean that they will not be judged like all humans will be. But we and them will be judged for the intention we had - and frankly not even for the act itself. Think about it.
At one time, when we saw the news - we would curse some leader or the other - but now I look at it and say only one thing: Praise Be to Allah. How can one person do all this? I cannot call him anything knowing the facts of life that I know. This person is a created entity. He did not choose his birth and he will not choose his death. He is subjected to life just like everyone else. Yes, he is in a position of power - but who put him there? We believe that stations are given by God right? One way or the other he was brought to where he is today and given the power to decide. Even when it comes to the decision making process - he is subjected. Would you disagree? Think of the times when you have to make decisions. How many processes you go through and how many people you seek advice from. He is subjected to the same. No matter how rich or poor you are, you remain human and thus subjected to the human condition.
Having said that, we come to a point where we would like to look deeper into life. We have left the surface and gone deeper. At the surface its many things and many judgments and many ideas - but when you go deeper - all that disappears. We enter the world of intention and belief.
Feelings stem from these two phenomena. The attention of the inner mind the longings and the desires. What we had sought and wanted and searched for. Worked on and begged for. Thus, all this unseen energy is then transformed into the seen through actions taken - and so we are held responsible or rewarded depending on how beneficial or damaging that act was or is. We often hear and see that many people committed the same crime and some got punished and others got away with it. Who is to say who is better off?
You see, life is a series of many events happening simultaneously. And that is the beauty of it all. That is the beauty of creation and its administration. We say again, all praise be to Allah. This one source of all life has created and then directed to a result all of his creation and that is what is going on. Passage of time is just the movement of all this creation into a direction willingly or unwillingly. And this has been proven time and time again through various events, miracles and common situations.
Knowing this, if one knows it indeed, why do we react? Why do we still react to anything at all? What is it that makes us react? The same phenomena of change and movement. These reactions often lead to a shift in the situation which was meant to be also. And thus the motion starts in that direction which then shifts to something else at some point in time. One realizes how it is all working very smoothly indeed.

Human Condition

It does not get any easier does it. The human condition. All that humans do , is because of the human condition. What is the human condition? It is basically the existence on earth. The fear of death. The affect of time. The concern. All this is the human condition. Can it be overcome. Yes! It can be.
The following is only for people who believe in a God. If you do not believe in a God, then you may not agree with a lot of what I have to say here.
You see, God created man. So every condition that man has to go through is from God. These conditions are signs of God. To put it simply, he is talking with situations that we may be in. The situation, good or bad - points out how we are perceived by him. What he is trying to say. It can get extremely complicated if try to get into the details of it WHILE we are living. We simply do not have time, since we are dealing with situations constantly. In most instances, we even forget that there is a God, let alone consider the possibility of him showing anything to us through the circumstance.
After a lot of frustration and going through a lot of different emotional situations, most of us lose it totally or are completely exhausted. And finally, we say - God what did I do wrong? BEEP! Wrong question. My suggestion: Do not ask questions - you may or MAY NOT get an answer so its a risk. Why take a risk?
Here is the solution: Ask for forgiveness regardless of the situation. Keep asking for it. Consider this, there is so much humans have no idea about - yet they are here - in this condition - the human condition. Seeking forgiveness for anything if anything and everything wrong we may have done during the day does many things to the mind and soul. It makes us better people and opens a new window in the mind. We see things more clear and thus the impact of the human condition is less. We can in fact reach a stage while alive on earth where we are no longer subjected to the human condition and thus are able to ordain things.
A great poet called Iqbal wrote: Raise yourself to a level so high, that before a decision is made God asks you - Say what be your will?
You raise yourself by seeking forgiveness and then going deeper into this relationship that will exist no matter what.
